Hi team,

I have find the description that the LMK00301 can be used to transmit the data.

What's the type of the signal can be buffered by the LMK00301? such as the data of GE serdes?

Dear Lacey,

thank you for reaching out. You are quite right, data (one and zeros...) can be transmitted with this buffer. The electrical table details the voltage swing, bandwidth and noise that should be expected. The signal must a digital signal meaning it is either high or low. Figure 5 and 6 on page 14 shows example of waveform for a clock but data can also be applied. this is showing a signal at 1.5 GHz.

The electrical table you mean is the specs table I can find in the datasheet as below:

So it means the max signal frequency is 3.1GHz. And digital signal which can meet the requirement as above table can be transmit properly.
