LMH1981: tri-level sync signal with no video

Hi Experts,

I have a customer who is thinking of buying LMH1981, but wants to first confirm below:

It's regarding the input signal. The data sheet says "The input accepts standard analog SD/ED/HD video signals with either bi-level or tri-level sync"
I want to ensure that an analog tri-level sync signal with no video will also be ok?
i.e. No signal at all in the video region. I guess that this is fine - but I just want to check before purchase

    Hi Gerald,

    correct, this device locks for the sync signals but not the video content. Sync signals still exist even if there is no video content. BTW, no video content means the picture is either black or white, so strictly speaking, video content does exist.
