LMK03328EVM: LMK03328 EVM EEPROM writing with TICSPRO-SW

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask LMK03328EVM?

We tried to operete EEPROM writing with LMK03328EVM using TICSPRO-SW, however it couldn't.

<TICSPRO-Sw version>

<TICSPRO-SW's procedure to write EEPROM>
1. Select EEPROM page
2. Commit Registers --> SRAM PAGE/GUI Map
3. Write GUI Map --> SRAM
4. Program EEPROM <-- SRAM

We assume that it is very simple.
After finishing writing, NVMCNT(R136)'s value will increase automatically.
However, it didn't increase.

If you have some advice, could you let us know?

Hi Horotaka,

Try manually updating the EEPROM. Directions are in the attachment.

We would like to confirm whether our procedure is correct or not.

<Step1： Register Commit Page0～5>
Select from Page 0 to Page5

<Step2：SRAM Page/ GUI Map>
Commit Registers -> SRAM PAGE/GUI Map

<Step3：SRAM Writeing>
Write GUI Map -> SRAM

<Step4：EEPROM writing>
Press the “Raw Registers” tab
-Write a 1 to R137.6
-Write 0xEA to R144
-Write a 1 to R137.0
-Write 0x00 to R144

Above procedure, we confirmed that R136 value increased after power on reset.
It seems that SRAM -> Program EEPROM on TICSPRO-SW doesn't operate correctly.

OK, we got it.

We would like to confirm two points.
-Does this problem occur in case of Network Synchronizer products like as LMK05318?
-Does this problem depend on TICSPRO-SW? We will fix with version up?

Hi Hirotaka-san
No, this does not occur with LMK05318B. I believe this to be a part profile issue related to an programming script.
It is not TICSpro specific.
