CDCLVP1102: The actual input capacitance of cdclvp1102

Hi,

The c_comp of the differential input of the IBIS model is 0.3pF, but the Icap input in the datesheet is 5pF, Δv/ΔT=1.5v/ns, both of which describe the input capacitance of the transistor. Why is there such a big difference between the two? Thanks.

Hi Charlie,

I am waiting for design to find the actual value here to address this ambiguity. Since this is an old part, we need to do some digging in design database. I will get an update by Feb 02, 2023.

Hi Charlie,

Sorry for the delayed response on this. We were able to dig the design database and it turns out that the datasheet value is wrong. IBIS model capacitance is the correct pF value. You can add around 1-2 pF into as package parasitics as well.
