CDCEL949: In-circuit programming

Team,

my customer is looking for solutions to program CDCEL949 (directly on their custom design board with the devices soldered to it).
According to ClockPro, they need CDCEL9XXPROGEVM.

Are there any other options?
It would need to have the I2C bus available on the board from the outside, right?

Hi Franziskus,

The CDCEL949 can be programmed over I2C, so having an I2C bus on the board that can be interfaced with a controller should be enough. The CDCEL9XXPROGEVM is designed to program individual CDCEL9xx chips and wouldn't really fit their use case. Details on I2C programming are in sections 9.5 and 9.6 of the datasheet, let us know if they have other questions.
