LMK1D1208P: Output signal is inverted

Part Number: LMK1D1208P
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK1D1212

Hello!

I am using LMK1D1208P. IN0 inputs connected to LVDS and have 100 Ohm termination. On output I get inverted input signal. I have IN_SEL pin tied to ground to select IN0_P and IN0_N as input source, OEx pins are openned, AMP_SEL pin is openned. What can be the reason? Thanks in advance!

Artem

  • Hi Artem,

Can you share your schematic for me to take a look. When you say, you are seeing inverted signal, are you input a clock input or just the DC input?

  • Hi Artem,

I just did a quick on the pinout for package option and it seems we have the incorrect datasheet labels for the INP0 and INN0 in the datasheet. Pin 8 is IN0_N while Pin 9 is IN0_P in the device. This is incorrectly labeled in the current datasheet. This is the reason why you are experiencing inverted output.

We will update this mistake as soon as possible and update the datasheet. I apologize for the mistake that caused problem in your design. We have updated LMK1D1212 datasheet recently with the correct info and we will work on to get this fixed.

Left is LMK1D1212 while right is LMK1D1208P (incorrect pin out).

    Best,

    Asim
