Part Number: LMX2595
Hi, the datasheet on pg 61, section 8.1.2 says that a high slew rate clock input gives best performance. Will the LMX2595 still work if we use a sinewave input? We are feeding in a 281.25 MHz oscillator sinewave.

Hi David,
Slew rate of a 200MHz sine wave clock is already pretty good, unless the voltage swing is very small. Make sure your clock has voltage swing around 1Vpp - 2Vpp, then there should be no degradation to the PLL phase noise.
