CDCDB2000: CDCDB2000 minimum frequency

Hi,

I need to distribute low-frequency clock references to multiple loads. The CDCDB2000 looks like a good candidate.

My clocks operate between 500Hz and 2MHz. Are these frequencies too low for the part? Is there a reason for its lower bound of 50MHz?

Hi Borge,

CDCDB2000 has AC coupled input stage which has a cutoff at 1 MHz. There could be some glitches on the output when operating below that frequency.
We didn't specified lower frequencies currently because we didn't characterized the buffer in the lab for lower frequencies yet.

I would recommend looking at LMK1D1216 for you use case. It could work for your frequency range with similar output swing. Their will be some common mode difference if you really need the LP-HCSL output type. Then you can look at LMK00338 buffer.
