TRF3765: Frequencie change lock time

Hi,

I am looking at using the TRF3765, I am curious if anyone has pushed the TRF3765 in terms of freq. change speed (i.e. times it takes to write frequency change to proper registers + PLL lock time). I want something as fast as possible. Reading around DS + technical documents, I have seen <75us thrown around. Has any body done better?

If you have can you state the time, Ref Freq (and/or PFD freq), loop bandwidth?

We are not certain how to address this type of open ended question.

a couple of things we will need to understand your applications better:

1. What is the input frequency to the TRF3765?

2. What is the output frequency to the TRF3765?

3. Guidance on frequency hopping steps, if needed. This determines whether you are in fractional mode or integer mode

4. fractional frequency step or integer frequency step

5 loop bandwidth needed for your applications
