Hi,
Customer's goal is to buffer the cosine wave signal to 3 low additive phase noise output signals.
Can a cosine wave signal be as an input signal of LMK1C1104 to generate multiple fan-out signals? If not, any recommendation?

Hello Ken,
What output types does the customer require? How low phase noise do your outputs need to be? The LMK1C family can accept cosine waveforms, but depending on your requirements, it may or may not be good enough in terms of performance.

The output impedance of the TCXO is 50ohm and the output power is about 9dBm. Output waveform should be LVCMOS, additive jitter less than 30fs.
What's the minimum power requirement for cosine waveform input? Should customer put a 50ohm termination to the input?
Hello Ken,
50Ω termination is not needed, but the LMK1C does not have internal bias so external biasing to VCC/2 is required.
What's the minimum power requirement for cosine waveform input?
The swing needs to meet the V_IH and V_IL levels.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck,
Andrea
