LMX2820: LMX2820 programming issue

Part Number: LMX2820

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I'm using the LMX2820 PLL IC on my board and interfacing it with USB to Any. I’ve connected a 10-pin ribbon cable on one side (to USB to Any) and a micro-D connector on the other. While the device is detected in the TICS Pro GUI, I’m unable to program the PLL or write to the register values. I checked the clock, data, and chip select lines on the oscilloscope, and they appear to be functioning properly, yet the output frequency isn't as expected. Interestingly, performing a readback yields the default output frequency of 6GHz.

As an alternative, I tried soldering male jumper wires and connecting the other ends to a 10-pin female ribbon cable. In this setup, I am able to achieve the desired output frequency. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
