LMX2594: Manual Ramping Mode - Necessary requiremant - undocumented

Part Number: LMX2594
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2595, LMX2572

Tool/software:

hi,

iam working on a proprietary stm32 platform with the lmx2595 connected via spi.

as you mentioned, for fout lower than 7500mhz the manual ramping is not working?

as i understood, the vco core 7500-15000mhz can be ramped manually. the divider have to be set via register. why shoud the clock ramping not work then?

in my case i have a general problem. i can set fou via register. as soon as i set the ramp_en bit in REG0, the vco looses lock.

manal ramping is not working at any register setting shown by the tics pro.

do i have to send a specific register sequence, or is there a hidden bug with the manual ramping mode?

many thanks for helping
