When Vin exceeding 8.6V , U3 pin 1 turn on, suppling 7.5V to Timer IC U1, A one shot 46mSec pulse appears at U3 , which turn on Coil Pick up for 46mSec. We had produce over thousands PCBA using LMC555 timer without any issue.
The recent batch that we received from the supplier that did not work as intended, There wasn’t a one shot pulse appear at pin 3 ( The trigger circuit at Pin 2 does not work for some reason
We replaced the U1 with the same component that we have stocked during the first qualification test, the circuit operates as intended, the replacement part on the old batch such as TLC555QDR or TLC555QDRG4 OR TLC555QDRQ1 OR LMC555IMX/NOPB OR LMC555IM/NOPB, they all work
