I am looking for information regarding input drive (dBm) vs expected phase noise performance for the LMX2615-SP.

That is to say, will the phase noise performance of the LMX2615-SP change drastically over input power? Any internal data or plots you have will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Filipe,

At these frequencies, the impact of their amplitude to phase noise is very small. Amplitude of the signal will affect the slew rate of the signal, PLL is sensitive this slew rate. So at lower frequency, higher amplitude has advantage as the slew rate is higher. Above 100MHz, we don't see a significant change in phase noise due to slew rate. Maybe we can get 1dB better in-band phase noise with a higher input amplitude.
