TLC555-Q1: Difference between TLC555QDRQ1 and TLC555ZQDRQ1

Dear TI experts,

My customer ordered TLC555QDRQ1 but they actually received TLC555ZQDRQ1 on July.

(They received some TLC555QDRQ1 and some TLC555ZQDRQ1 in total quantity.)

My customer exactly ordered TLC555QDRQ1, and wants to know the difference between these 2 parts.

But I caanot find the information about TLC555ZQDRQ1 on TI.com.

  • Is Z version existing parts?
  • Are Z version and non-Z version electrically the same?
  • Can I get the datasheet of Z version?

(In addition manufacturing date of Z version is too old. It is manufactured in 5th week of 2022. - Date code 2205)

    Chase,

    The Z version is fine to use, if the age of product is acceptable. "Z" is a special request for a smaller subset of build of materials that were perceived to be better to get Zero delamination. I don't think the Z version was meant for general public or being sold under regular part number (full set of build materials). Can you post the label on the boxes?
