HI,

I could not find information on the frequency limits of the sync pin for the LMK04828. I require a sync pulse to be driven into this pin and want to know what the limiitations are if you can provide them?

Hello Fearghal,

You should be able to run the SYNC input to 40 MHz. So for a pulse, that would be 12.5 ns. However, if you require faster, please note that CLKin0 can be used as a high speed path for SYNC input as per figure 5-2. This runs up to 750 MHz.

Hi Timothy,

That's great. Can you also tell me if CLKin0 has a lower frequency limit of 1 kHz if it is used as a high speed path for the SYNC input? Or can it be driven by a 1 Hz signal?

For the really slow CLKin0 however, do use DC coupling. You can set the CLKin0 for MOS mode input.
