CDCLVD1204 - Connection of unused input pins

Hi,

We have a question about CDCLVD1204 unused input pins. The datasheet recommends to pull-down both input pins(INP, INN) to GND through 1kohm resistors.

Our customer have connected as the following. 
INP pin to VCC or VAC_REF 
INN pin to GND

Would there be any problem ? Please find attached file for detail.
