CDC7005 - Charge pump current variation

Hi Team,

Do you have any data of MIN and MAX for the programmed charge pump current ?

If possible please share us how much it varies from the setting current.

If there is no data, it would be helpful if you could give us the estimated variation.

    Hello Kawai,

    We don't have char data for 7005 CP current variation. but I could find some char data for other similar chips (nominal) on the same process. The charge pump current variation over compliance range is about +/- 8% for settings of 1mA and above, for lower currents (below 1mA) this can increase to +/- 14 %.

    on top of this variation comes the variation due to supply voltage/temprature/ process an reference resistor (12k nominal). I can't give a concrete number here, but the designers should account for minimum of 20% variation of the current from the programmed settings.
