Hi Pol,

Hi team,

Could you please give me the junction to ambient thermal resistance of CDC329A SOIC-16 package (Rth_ja)?

I can’t find it in the datasheet,

My application is a 1-channel 40MHz 5V (in/out) clock buffer with 49-51% output duty cycle.

Do you know if there is a “better” (or more recent) device that could do the job?

Hi Pol,

Rth_ja = 80 degrees C/W for CDC329A.

You may be interested in CDCVF2505 for this application. CDCVF2505 outputs are adjusted to 50% duty independent of input duty cycle.

Hi Lane,

Thank you for your suggestion but I need a 5V (in and out) clock buffer.

Any other suggestion?

With Vcc = 5V, there are 17 parts to choose from.
