CDCE62002 Package - Only One Option

Hi,

I have purchased a quantity of the CDC62002 IC's. I have a few questions on the choice package.

  1. The package that the IC is provided in, is a PQFP - QFN. The size of the IC package is very small, and i have had to purchase a stereo microscope (had to buy this for SMT components) and small mirrors to ensure correct alignment with the PADS. As such, given the power density of the device, and the required bottom ground connection, is it possible to provide the IC with a leaded package for ease of alignment and soldering, or would this reduce the performance of the IC ?.
