We used to use the LM122H-883 timer IC from National Semi. Sometime after TI purchased National Semi, the IC was obsoleted. Has anyone found a replacement for this IC in MIL grade? If so, who is the manufacturer?
Thanks,
Dick
Hello Dick,
To the best of my knowledge, there are no sources for LM122H-883 in MIL grade or any other grade.
The closest alternate devices are SE555M, LM555QML, and TLC555M. The pinout and device function for these three devices are similar to each other. However all three are substantially different from LM122.
Ron - Thanks for your response.
Actually, Teledyne does offer a drop-in replacement for the LM122H-883, although it's very pricey (no surprise).
The Teledyne P/N is:
5962-9163101MIA
Thanks again,
Dick
Dick,
Very pricey indeed. If you care about the age of these devices then be sure to ask before buying them.
