In my system, the board that hass LMX2581Es mounted is type of Mezzanine board so I plan to have Aluminum thermal boss to be contacted on top of LMX2581E package to flow heat to outer clamshell. Question here is is there any performance changes if we put Aluminum metal directly contacted on top of LMX2581E?
If not recommended to direct contacting LMX2581E package top with Aluminum boss material, we can have some gap between LMX2581E and Aluminum boss but some filter material filled in between. If that is the case, what is then min. distance can we have between LMX2581E package top with Aluminum boss material? Would you please advise?
