Hello,

I have some question about TPL5010.

Is Rext necessary for TPL5010 operation?

I know that to set the time interval, the Rext is required.

I'm considering removing Rext.

max supply current of TPL5010 is 400uA in digital conversion of external resistance (Rext) condition.

If Rext is opened, is max supply current 50uA?

R_ext is needed to select the time interval. If R_ext is not present, the nanotimer will not be able to select a T_IP. After the resistance reading, R_ext could be removed.

Supply current is 50nA, not 50uA. You do not need to remove the resistor in this case to hit 50uA target.

I understood like this.

1. R_ext is needed to set the time interval during start up.

2. Supply current is 50nA after reading R_ext and setting the time interval.

3. Only during the reading of the Rext, max supply current is 400uA.

Is it right?
