LMK04826: OSCout no output when power on

Dear TI support,

when I use LMK04826, OSCout has no clock output when power on. OSCin connects 100MHz clock.

As the datasheet says, OSCout should buffer the OSCin clock as output before registers are programmed.

I did the test on AFE58JD28EVM board and my own PCBA.

After programming the registers, OSCout can output right.

What should I do?

Hello Swen,

OSCout by default is set to output in LVPECL 1600 mVpp format. Can you confirm that the OSCout emitter resistors are 240-ohm to GND?

The OSCout emiiter resistors are not 240Ohm to GND, I think this is the problem.
