Hi,

I am configuring the VCC of the CDCLVP1208 to operate at 3.3V, the input is ac coupled to a LVPECL oscillator that is operating at 2.5V VCC. The oscillator output level low is 1.095V and high is 1.475V, that yield a differential output voltage of 0.76Vp-p well within the CDCLVP1208's input range, 0.2 - 1.5V. I believe this configuration works fine, is there any other parameters that need consideration?

Hi SB,

This is acceptable. Since you are AC coupling, you will need to provide the correct input bias voltage to the CDCLVP1208 inputs. 2 ways to do this are by adding resistors to Vcc as shown in the datasheet, page 17:
