Replacement of 5P49V5901(IDT)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCI6214, LMK03328

Dear experts,

My customer is now using 5P49V5901, one channel output is 25MHZ (SE), channel 2  output is 148.5MHZ(Differential),channel 3  output is 200MHZ(Differential),

Do TI have the replacement for 5P49V5901?

THX.

  • The competitor device does not specify jitter performance for these frequencies.

Can you please provide the following requirement specs for EACH output clock?
    1) Phase noise / Jitter (include jitter integration bandwidth)
    2) Frequency Accuracy (ppm)

Also, are they locking the PLL to an external system clock or to a free-running XTAL or XO reference? What is the reference input frequency?

One proposal may be CDCI6214 with 27 MHz XTAL input and Integer output divider (IOD) to generate 148.5 MHz (Y1), and fractional output dividers (FOD) to generate 25 MHz (Y3) and 200 MHz (Y4).

Another proposal could be LMK03328 which offers much better jitter performance.

  • Hi,Alan

Please refer to this information, mainly for 148.5M and 200MHz output .Hope getting your help. THX.

    一、Phase noise

    二、Jiter =0.749UI

    三、   Frequency Accuracy

4、 Customer is using  a crystal to lock the PLL, the frequency is 25MHZ.

  • Let's discuss proposal options directly. Please send an email to clock_support@list.ti.com.
