ADS1115: ACS Won't ACK on Hex48, seems to work on default Hex0 Address

Hi,

I am trying to get my ADS1115 to ACK with the address: 1001000 and a low read_write bit, however I always get a NACK. I have tried 4 different devices from two different suppliers, so I'm sure the problem lies with either my wiring/verilog code.

I have noted however, If I use the default address: 0000000 then I do get an ACK...so I'm confused about that.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to our e2e forum! Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the address on the ADS1115! Have you tried any other address besides 0x48 and 0x00? Can you use a DMM to verify ADDR is really connected to GND?

Hi Tom, I have used a Digital Multi-meter (DMM) to verify that ADDR is connected to ground.

I have tried the addresses:
hex48 1001000
hex49 1001001
hex4A 1001010
hex4B 1001011

But none give an ACK, only address: 0000000 gives an ACK, I'm starting to think maybe it's my wiring/soldering :-/
