Hi Expert

I have a product like this, which is intended to measure chest breathing and abdominal breathing with chest band and abdominal band respectively. The chest band and abdominal band are worn at the same time.If I use a 1292R on my chest band and a 1292R on my abdominal band to measure breathing, will that interfere with each other?I see that the 1292R respiration measure is AC excitation and demodulation on the human body. The excitation requirement is less than 100uA.I worry about incentives interfering with each other.

    Thanks for the post. 

    The ADS1292R respiration impedance measurement is based on high-frequency ac current modulation and demodulation to measure the small changes in the electrical impedance of the person’s thorax caused by respiration or breathing. Please review the App note (SBAA181) for more information.  

    I’m not familiar with the concurrent measurements technique of both chest and abdominal breathing. There will likely be interference between the two respiration circuitries if both are operating at the same time.
