ADS131M04EVM: Using PHI board without Windows GUI

Hi team

I am currently evaluating the ADS131M04EVM with the PHI board. Since our use case is on a Linux-based system, I am curious if I possibly could communicate to the PHI board with my own application and without the GUI (Since it is not supported on Linux). Is there any source available (Protocol) on how to talk to the PHI board and extract the AD Values without writing a driver in my own embedded system?

Hi William,

The PHI platform was designed for easy performance evaluation of TI's Precision ADC products. It was not intended for integration into customer end-systems and the features you're requesting are not available. I'll also note that some of the features and design tactics that enable the ease-of-evaluation and flexibility product-to-product prevents the platform and code-base from being useful for a specific product integration.

Recommendation is to fly-wire over the digital signals from the ADS131M04EVM daughter-card to your use-case processor and development environment. We have a C Example code available for the ADS131M0x family described here:
