DAC81408EVM: Not showing change in output pins

Part Number: DAC81408EVM

Hi Team,

Our customer is currently experiencing an issue similar to the original thread. Below is the detailed information:

"Currently using DAC81408EVM and a USB2ANY device. I have the hardware set up correctly, I'm assuming, and I am able to change register values on the GUI. The green light on the USB2ANY stays green when I change something on the GUI, which I'm assuming means the GUI is communicating with the USB2ANY. If I unplug the USB2ANY from the DAC, the light still blinks on the USB2ANY and the GUI still says hardware connected. I have a power supply hooked up to the DAC. VCC = 24V, VSS = -5V, VDD = 5V, VIO = 5V. I have confirmed those values using an oscilloscope on the test pins, therefore I'm assuming the board is being powered.  When I try to change OUT0-OUT7 to any DAC OUT value using hex, the voltage output does not change.

My hypothesis is that the commands from the GUI through the USB2ANY are never actually making it to the DAC chip.  Another piece of information- when I was looking through the Low Level configuration on the GUI, the STATUS register is indicating an internal oscillator error. I'm not sure if this is related or if it is something completely different."

Could you help us resolve the issue? Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Jejomar
