OrCAD symbol and PSpice model for SN55LVDS31W and SN55LVDS32W

Looking to do simulations on PSpice, I need  OrCAD symbols and PSpice model for the SN55LVDS31W and SN55LVDS32W and I have not been able to locate it on this web site.

Anyone have a model they could share.

Thanks,

Maurizio Macchiusi

  • Maurizio,

We do not have spice models available for these devices.

Additionally we do not have orcad symbols.  This is due to the custom nature of the W-pack.  The lead-forming is defined by the trim/form operation.  So, the footprint can be variable depending on tooling.

In general we typically provide Allegro symbols.  If you know your lead form specification, we can help with generation of an allegro footprint and possibly generation of Orcad symbol.  I will need to find a resource that can generate it, but It should be possible.

  • Thanks for the answer Wade,

Yesterday I asked for the symbol because on the TI site I found this link , but it didn't work.

My purpose is just to have the generic symbol of the 5962-9762201VFA. Is it possible?

    Thanks again

    Maurizio

  • Maurizio,

Thanks for pointing out the broken link.

I checked the symbol for the SNJ55LVDS32W, and it is downloadable.  (I inserted link, but not certain if it worked as it is not visible in my editor)

    http://focus.ti.com/general/docs/symfoot/downloadsymbolfootprint.tsp?orderablePartNumber=SNJ55LVDS32W&downLoadType=symbol

This symbol should be the same as the DSCC number, with the exception of the name.  Both are in the same package, the W pack.

I will check with our packaging engineer to verify prior statements on pinout.  I am not certain if the symbol contains the physical dimensions for pin placement.  If so, then prior comments regarding trim/form operations still exist.  Ie, you may have different physical pin placements.  Pin numbers and orders will be correct in either case.

    Wade

  • Great! perfect!

    thank you so much!
