ADS1192ECG-FE: ECG cable

Part Number: ADS1192ECG-FE

Hi,

I want to know whether ADS1192ECG-FE can be connected to patients for ECG measurement. If it can be connected then can I use dry electrodes for the measurement by soldering them to the connector.

Is it alright if I connect ERA to Right arm (wrist), ELA to left arm (wrist) and ERL to right leg (near ankle and foot) for proper ECG signal visualization?

Thank you,

Vedashree

  • Hi,

Highly appreciate for using TI's products.

This ticket has been received/viewed, and I will get back to you between 3~5 days.

    1. whether ADS1192ECG-FE can be connected to patients for ECG measurement.

    Ans: According to "ADS1x9xECG-FE User's Guide (Rev. A)" -

I highly suggest you use one of the following products -

    FLUKE BIOMEDICAL Patient Monitor Simulators

to approach what you intend to do.

    2. If it can be connected then can I use dry electrodes for the measurement by soldering them to the connector.

Is it alright if I connect

    ERA to Right arm (wrist),

ELA to left arm (wrist) and

ERL to right leg (near ankle and foot) for proper ECG signal visualization?

Ans: TI doesn't recommend using the EVM/Demonstration Kit in this manner; however, if user can obtain one of the FLUKE BIOMEDICAL Patient Monitor Simulators, it has the LEADs you want to connect.

    Appreciate.
