Hi,

I measured OUTA and OUTB waveform according to advice, but could not get the waveform as shown in the datasheet.

connection setting:HV0:+1.9V,LV0:-1.9V,HV1:+15.0V,LV1:-5.2V,HV2:+8.0V,LV2:-3.0V,VDD:+5V,VEE:-5V,VAA:+2.5V,VCW=OPEN.

I confirmed the operation by measuring the waveform when the HV power supply was disconnected.

I do not think that destruction has occurred since each of the waveforms is showing.

HV1 pin of P1-Header open

HV2 pin of P1-Header open

HV2 and HV1 pin of P1-Header open

What is the cause of not getting waveforms as shown in the datasheet?

Please give us some time to evaluate the possibilities of above observation. in meantime can you confirm about your measurement setup? Are you measuring it on customer EVM or your own board?

HI,

Thank you for reply.

I'm measureing it my own board.

I soldered the connector to P1 on the board.

Voltage was applied with regulated power supplies using the above settings.

The frequency setting with the buttons on the board has not been changed.

In the above measurement result image, the yellow and blue waveforms are measurement results, and the red waveform is the

result of the difference between the two.

Hi,

I evaluated the waveform. First thought i had was, HV2 supply is not proper. But looking at the channel B output, I do see device is able to swing till HV2 supply level. And on the board channel A and B supplies are shorted so it means HV2 supply is properly applied. So there are two possibilities now. Either channel A of the device is faulty or there is an issue with control signal. In both the cases, we recommend you to order a new EVM. Let me know if you need any support in ordering the EVM.

Thank you for reply.

Since the user cannot change the control signal for TX517, I think it's faulty whichever is the cause.

I'd like to exchange my TX517EVM.
