ADS7948: ADC conversion with CS connected to ground.

Hello

I have a proposed PCB that I'm writing the software for.

The design engineer has only connected SCLK and SDO and CH SEL to my microcontroller.

The CS is connected to the ground.

Is it possible to use the ADC converter with this connection?

In the examples in your data sheet, you use the CS.

I need to tell if he should change his design.

    Hi Goran,

    Unfortunately you will need to change your ADS7948 schematic.  Please review Figure 44 and the text below it on page 24 of the datasheet.  The /CS line must return high to initiate the acquisition stage.  If /CS is continuously low, you will not get out of the power down state.
