DAC8832EVM-PDK: DXP error

Is this a new error message from the one you shared in our previous thread?

The previous error was resolved with reference to another thread's post.

It looks like another error this time.

Out of curiosity, do you know how they solved the previous error? Did installing with admin rights fix it?

You can try installing this support package that was developed:

 4370.dxp-supportpackage-2.0.0.exe.zip

I've seen it solve some issues in other forum posts. This error message seems the same as the one posed in this thread:

The customer has done the following with reference to the E2E thread, but they still get the same error.

・Secure Boot → Disable

・Driver signature enforcement → Disable

・Install NI-VISA (14.0.1) runtime

・Support package

customer demand

Since there is no prospect of solving the current situation, we are considering control by self-made commands in parallel.

Could you show me the command list for DAC control?

Is it working properly on TI? Could you please confirm what kind of environment you are running it in?

If you can disclose what kind of command control is being performed from the PC via the DXP software, please let me know.

The DXP software was designed for windows 7. I personally don't have it installed on my computer. We have been able to get it running for customers through the methods that I have shared with you on the forum, but if they have not worked then I am not sure what other things to try unfortunately. 

I would be happy to help the customer get the EVM up and running using an external controller/with self made commands. Let me know how I can provide help. 

The DXP wrote a series of DAC updates to the DAC (I expect from a lookup table or the DSP was calculating the sine codes and writing them to the DAC) based on the frequency and amplitude selected in the GUI. 

The DAC8832 only has one register controlled via SPI. CS is asserted low and then the 16 data bits are clocked out by the controller. The DXP software did this continuously with different 16-bit data points to generate the sine wave.
