Hi,team

My customer installed the "DAC Exerciser Program (DXP)" when using the DAC8832EVM-PDK.

After installing "DAC Exerciser Program (DXP)", there is no LabView development environment

I got an error message that I can't use

Do you have any suggestions for improvement?

I understand that LabView is a paid subscription,

Isn't there any free support here?

Hi Sato-san,

Please share a screenshot of the error message. This EVM is quite old and most of the issues we see are due to compatibility issues with Windows 10 as it was designed for Windows 7. Our team is not an expert in this area so we may not be able to help too much. Another suggestion I usually offer is to use any SPI controller that you may have and wire up the CS, SCLK, and SDI pins to that controller.

The error message below is displayed.

I cannot run the VI. A LabVIEW development system is required to correct the error.

Please tell me how to resolve.

Hi Sato-san,

I understand. The error message is just saying that there is an error within the LabVIEW VI used in the GUI, but to debug the error you would need the development version of LabVIEW.

The error: "I cannot run the VI. A LabVIEW development system is required to correct the error." doesn't actually say what the error is so we can't dig into that further. Is there any other information given in the error message?

Or, when you open the VI does a file explorer open up asking you to find missing LabVIEW files? And missing files would cause the VI to be broken as you have shown in the screenshot.

It looks like installing with admin permissions let all of the files be installed correctly. Please try that if you haven't already.
