Hi,
Please let me know about the SPI specifications.
The customer plans to bus-connect the SPI I/F of five devices.
The data rate is about 1.4Mbps, is there any problem?
Customers are concerned about waveform distortion due to input capacitance.
Do you know the value of the input capacitance?
and
I believe all SPI pins have ESD protection. Is this correct?
Best regards,
Hiroshi
Hi user5163865,
The capacitance for each pin on the ADS1255 is given in the IBIS model: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbam108. You can use these values to estimate the total bus capacitance using multiple devices
The digital input pins are protected by ESD diodes. You can determine this by looking at the absolute maximum ratings in the ADS1255 datasheet to see that these pins are limited to +6V.
