Which windows version are you using? Suggest to use Windows XP or Windows 10.

Try disconnect the EVM and uninstall everything and then,

Then, WITHOUT connecting the EVM, do a fresh install the required software first. Only after complete the software installation, then connect the EVM.

Therefore, when I try, I find the MMB0 device.

I still can't connect when I run the software.
I don't think the USBStyx driver is installed. it doesn't install automatically. How do I install it?

I wonder what software is on page 12 of the user manual?

it should come together with the installer that came with the ADS1299EVM installer.

Windows 8 and above requires driver signature to be disabled to be able to install the driver.

People are able to complete the installation on a Windows 10 machine -

Make sure you have proper permission and authorization to install the software.

Thank you for your prompt response. I have carefully followed the instructions provided in the thread you linked, as well as the additional thread for Windows 10 installation.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to successfully install the ADS1299EVM software.

-> when I connect the ADS1299EEGFE-PDK to my PC, I can see the MMB0 device connected in the Device Manager, but it does not change to the USBStyx Driver when I run the software.

Thus, I felt the need to separately install the USBStyx Driver as mentioned on page 12 of the user guide. What could be the problem?

TI doesn't provide any additional driver.

I followed the link you provided and tried each step one by one as you instructed. However, when I reached the 12th step and ran the software, it still shows a connection failure. I'll send you a photo as well.

The error says 'not found'.

In Device Manager, I can find the MMB0 device, but the USBStyx device that appears when connected properly to the software is not there.

Check to see if you supply power properly to the EVM?

It seems the NI-LabView library was not installed properly or have some conflict.

Which Windows version are you using? Can you try on a Windows 10 machine?

Do you have any National Instrument(NI) or labview related software app installed in your computer?

If yes, could you completely uninstall all NI and LabView related software apps as well as the ADS1299 GUI, and do a fresh/clean install again using administrator permission. Make sure the EVM is disconnected all the time.

Make sure you clear and have all the administrator permissions to install the software app. Probably also turn off the antivirus as well.
