Hello Miyasaka,
The register 0xA[8] is the bit for test pattern synchronization in the device AFE5808A, which is next generation revision of AFE5808 with bug fixes and feature improvement.
I think it should support not this feature on AFE5808.
Do you have the EVM of the device, if so, you can verify it.
Meanwhile, I will look into the design details of this to confirm. I will get back with my findings early next week.
