DAC161S997EVM: DAC161S997EVM CONNECTION ERROR

Hi,

A few questions:

1. Can you try running the GUI as an administrator?

2. Go to Device Manager and see the EVM is detected there or not?

3. Which version of OS are you running? This EVM is tested only up to Win 7.

4. How do you have the power connected to the EVM?

1. Yes, I tried to run GUI as an administrator.

2. Yes, EVM is detecting in device manager with COM25.

3. I am using Windows 10 Pro OS.

4. I applied 24V power supply at J1 connector with 100 Ohm series resistor.

I would make sure you have the Labview Run time engine version 2014. Can you download it from the below link and try it?

32 bit:

Can you try downloading the NI-VISA driver from: http://www.ni.com/download/ni-visa-17.0/6646/en/
Download the 17.0 version and try to use the GUI again, if this doesn't work, download the latest version.
