ADS1263EVM-PDK: Can not install driver for ASD1263 dev board

Hi, guys,

just got ADS1263EVM kit, which includes MMB0 board and 1263-based hat

If I give him power - I see 4 LEDs, indicating different powers and 7-segment indicator, slighly lighting in all segments and dot.
If I connect MMB0 board to USB - I see a new "unknown device".
Looks fine.

ADS1263EVM-PDK-GUI, downloaded today for TI site, installs well, including TI drivers. But GUI software can not connect "to PHI". Reboot does not help.

So I have "unknown device" (Both on Win10 and Win7). If I try to update (in Windows Device Manager) its drivers from the driver installation path ("PHI drivers") it can not find drivers. If I try to reinstall drivers running driver installer - it can not find the device. Looks like the MMB0 board and the driver does not fit each other. The driver install log is attached.

Anybody can help with the problem? (Basic power off/on, reboot, reinstall does not help). driver installation log

Hi Dmytro Rahozin,

The current version of the EVM has changed, see the image below from the tool folder and user's guide. The GUI you downloaded is for this version of the board, not the older board with the MMB0

Can you let me know where you got your version of the EVM? This change occurred about 1 year ago so I would not expect to be able to get one of these older EVMs anymore

I askey guys to buy 1263 development kit and they have got ADS1263EVM-PDK less than 2 weeks ago (it least ADS1263EVM is printed on sticker). And I've downloaded software PDK today.
I see that the board is somehow different if compare to your image.

Yes, your board is the old revision that is completely different from the new one. Hence why the GUI did not work

Can you ask your guys to tell you where they bought this EVM? I would like to track down the source and make sure they have the latest versions

In the meantime I will see if I can find a link to the old version of the GUI

Hi, Bryan,

thank you for answer, for me it would be great to have older GUI version, I plan to use SPI-based 1263 module only for evaluation, but I need a simple way to check signal via MMB0 board.
Below I've attached stickers: one from shield cover with Digikey logo and purchase date (5 Jan 2024) - red lines are my highlight, and another from Texas Instruments packing, IMHO it was produced in July 2022. Maybe it was stored for 1.5 years in warehouse.
