Collin Wells replied in the post ADC128S102-SEP: Can I apply input signals before the analog supply (Va) with a partial circuit diagram of the ESD Protection Diodes within the ADC128S102 ADC. Could someone provide a circuit diagram showing all of the protection diodes between both analog and digital inputs and VA and VD? It's clear from the datasheet that the analog input protection diodes are tied to VA, but it's not clear if the digital input protection diodes are tied to VD or VA. (I realize that if they are tied to VD, they are tied to VA via the VD to VA diode in Collin's diagram, but this would mean the drop is closer to 0.6V instead of only one diode drop.)
