Hello,
I am looking for a recommendation for a ADS7066/ADS7067 reference buffer. I see the REF60xx is what is used in the EVM, but I need the ability to aggressively trim the reference voltage via a digipot and buffer combination so the REF60xx integrated buffer is not much benefit. I am looking at using a REF50xx with a OPAx388 or a OPAx365 as they are parts we are already using. If no recommendation can be provided, can the ADS7066/7067 reference current be provided so I can calculate the required parameters for one?
Thanks,
- Alex
Hi Alex,
Thank you for your post.
If you require a discrete buffer in order to trim the reference voltage, then perhaps REF50xx family is the best option. Besides the two amplifiers you listed above, OPA320 is another popular choice for a reference buffer. Noise is slightly higher than the OPA388, but it offers 2x the GBW (20 MHz).
