Tool/software:
I am going to interface the differential output of an AMC1311 to the differential input of an ADS7865.
The AMC1311 has a common mode offset of 1.44V. Will this create an offset in the digital reading from the ADS7865?
Hello Christopher,
Thank you for your question. In differential mode the offset seen with a different common mode level should be minimal if any. I will like to not though that having a 1.44V common mode instead of 2.5V could decrease your Full Scale range, but as long as the input remains within the -0.1V to AVDD+0.1V it should function as expected.
Best regards,
Yolanda
