Can you help me understand what you mean by "class B requirements"?

What failures it the customer looking to identify?

The ADS124S08 has PGA fault detection, VREF monitors, burnout current sources, a temp sensor, etc., so it has many features that can help detect certain faults. But I need to know what those faults are before I can help further.
