VSP5610: ADC recommendations for 4-channel CCD sensor

Hello,

I selected VSP5612 as the Analog-to-digit converter for a 4-channel CCD sensor in a application. I found this ADC was launched years ago, and wonder if it is suited for new designs. Besides, do you have any other recommendations for ADCs that are well suited for a 4-channel CCD sensor?

The VSP5612 is still active and in production. TI doesn't have plans to obsolete the device.

The ADC I'm looking for should have 4 channels and a sample rate that exceeds 15MSPS/ch. I have reviewed the CCD & CIS imaging AFEs catalog and found that VSP5612 and VSP5622 could meet my requirements. Since VSP5622 is in stop production now, VSP5612 seems to be the only option.

The CCD is used in an OCT (optical coherent tomography) project which requires high precision ADC. Is VSP5612 suited for high precision applications? If I don't care the correlated double sampling (CDS) function, does it exhibit superior performance compared to standard ADCs?
