ADS8361: ADS8361 data bit shift

Part Number: ADS8361

Tool/software:

Dear Expert

ADS8361 data bit shift,could u give some suggestion;

The following is the waveform diagram of the test, and the data in the ID bit is clearly incorrect.

It's wrong wave form

Correct waveform

Wrong bus waveform

Correct bus waveform

  • Hello Gabriel,

Thank you for posting on TI's E2E forum!

I can see there is a difference between the waveforms, and one of each pair does seem off, but could you please share more information on what is the comparison and when this is happening? Is there a mode configuration difference between them? is this the same device or 2 different devices? Different clock speeds?

The images are very blurry and it is difficult to see any timing information, would you be able to share some additional images that are clearer or share information on the speed of the signals as well as what channels are what pins?

    Best regards,

    Yolanda

  • Dear Yolanda

    Below waveform is good enough?

The above is the same set of data. The normal data bit CH1 CHB is 1 1, but the abnormal data bit CH1 CHB is 1 0

  • Hello Gabriel,

Yes it is a bit more clear, but could you please confirm the clock speed for me?

Is there a difference in clock speed between the working bus picture and the non working bus picture?

What was the set up like with the working bus picture? What was the set up like with the not working bus picture? Are they the same device?

what is the configuration of the device(s)?  What is M0? What is M1?

Could you share a schematic of this system?

    Best regards,

    Yolanda
