DAC38J84: Request for help diagnosing errors with JESD204B

Part Number: DAC38J84

Tool/software:

Hi there,

I'm using the DAC38J84, clocked by the LMK04828B (as part of the Abaco FMC144). I am seeing error bits flagged on the DAC side that I think are caused by issues in the JESD204B connection, but I'm not sure and would really appreciate some help diagnosing my issue.

The errors I see are lane errors across all lanes (registers 0x64 to 0x6B) and are the the following:
- bit15 = multiframe alignment error

- bit14 = frame alignment error

- bit13 = link configuration error

- bit12 = elastic buffer overflow (bad RBD value)

- bit1 = read_error : Asserted if read request with empty FIFO

- bit0 = read_empty : FIFO is empty

I am targeting a sample rate of 1.23Gsps

DACCLK = 2.46GHz

2x interpolation

LMFS = 8411

K = 32

Sysref freq = 9.609375MHz

Serdes divider = 10

Serdes multiplier = 12.5

Using 'Full Rate' mode for serdes rate

Those are the relevant settings I can think of, but please let me know if it would be helpful for me to add further context.

Any help diagnosing my issue, or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!
