ADS131E08: Power Supply sequence

Hi,

We are planning supply ADS131E08 with +2.5V and -2.5V dual supply.

In our application it is expected to +2.5V supply ramp up slower than -2.5V.

Is there any risk if -2.5V AVDD ramp up before +2.5V for ADC ADS131E08 ? is there any requirement to ramp up both supplies simultaneously with same time ?

Hi Amit,

In order to keep the device safe and do not violate the absolute maximum ratings, all digital and analog inputs must be low before device power up. At the time of power up, keep all of these signals low until the power supplies have stabilized.

Hi Amit,

After double checked with the design team, there is no concern with what you are doing on +/-2.5V power supply. Just need to keep digital and analog inputs low until the power supplies have stabilized.
