What are the conditions to get propagation delay as minimum 1ns as mentioned in datasheet of this part (SN74LXC2T45).

The propagation delay window is too big for this part.

Our operating temperature window is 0°C to +50°C

Can you please suggest any other part (Any voltage to any voltage translation) with smallest window of propagation delay.

We are looking propagation delay around 1ns from 3.3V to (1.2V to 5V) signal level translation with up to 100MHz speed.

Or any other way/device to achieve this..

    What's the protocol you are trying to interface with? Can you take a look at the SN74LVC2T45 and see if this fits your requirements?

    I haven't seen a level translator with a 1ns propagation delay that also supports 100MHz.

    We are looking level translator part for Driver/Receiver project application to be used by Engineering/Scientific community. The requirements for this project are very precise as below. However the part SN74LVC2T45 is looking better but not fully satisfying our requirements.

    Project requirements:

    1. Level translation from 3.3V to 1.2V - 5V (in steps of 100mV), This is required down translation and up translation for output from 3.3V input signal.

    2, The input signal frequency should be supported up to 100 MHz for for full range of level translation (from 3.3V to 1.2V-5V).

    3. The propagation delay around 1ns (looking as minimum as possible) for full range of level translation.

    4. Operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C

    Pleases suggest any device close to these above requirements.

    Please let me know for any other input you need..

    The only level translators that can support 1.1V to 5.5V signals are LXC and TXU.

    Both will give you a max data rate of ~20Mbps (or 10MHz) when translating from 3.3V to 1.2V.

    The other issue is meeting the 1ns prop delay across the full voltage range. Unfortunately, no level transistor will be capable of delivering this.
